Henry Hintze, MDT, RDT, Owner of Masters, and Technical Leader of The Dawson Academy Study Club in Atlantic Canada/Toronto

Henry has been providing exceptional dental chair-side service for over forty years. While earning his Master’s degree in Dental Technology and attending the University of Hamburg in Germany, he also opened his first dental lab. His passion for excellence and continual education quickly propelled him to becoming a leader in the field of complex oral technology. He has been a lecturer across the USA and Canada for many years, and after he settled in Halifax, he began teaching dental technology at NS/IT, and co-owned a large lab. He then founded Masters Dental Lab to specialize in providing lasting results for patients with complex oral challenges. Henry is motivated by his commitment to recommending and providing the best solutions for every dental patient, and many industry professionals turn to him as the leading expert.

Along with his dentists-partners, Henry established The Dawson Academy Study Club for Atlantic Canada/Toronto.

Dr. Ormir Berdica, lead on Planning & Design, CAD CAM Sirona 

and Implant Guiding Software

Dr. Ormir Berdica, dds, has been practicing dentistry for eighteen years and is the lead on CAD-CAM Sirona and 3D Printing technologies at Masters Dental. He is also the lead for CoDiagnostiX the Implant Guiding Software by Straumann, for any implant type.

A Benchmark Case in Academia: One of Ormir’s complex implant guiding cases has been added to the Royal College of Exams.

As an active innovator, Ormir was drawn to our lab through an alignment of shared values in continuing education and consistent evolution of new dental technologies. Dr. Berdica specializes in dental implants, and you can trust him to handle the most challenging cases with expert ease. He is never one to leave a problem unsolved - a true solutions Master!

Ormir is multilingual: He speaks English, Italian, Arabic and Albanian.

Cherri Ingram, CDT, Senior Ceramist and Digital Dentistry Technician

Cherri Ingram earned an honours degree in Dental Technology from NSCC/IT in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she studied under our very own Henry Hintze. She afterwards obtained the title of Certified Dental Technician in Dental Ceramics and Orthodontics Technologies. 

Cherri is an extremely talented technician and recognized as one of the top 10 ceramists in Atlantic Canada. She passionately applies her technical skills to modern and digital dentistry, including implant guiding, computer-aided design, and 3D printing. 

As a customer-facing technician, Cherri loves to make people smile - both dentists and their patients - with her exceptional dental ceramics skills. Her constant striving for the best possible outcomes leads to rave-worthy results.

She attributes her success to ongoing CE with dental technology leaders throughout her 22 years in the industry. Her commitment to life-long learning is what attracted her to Masters, where she is now enrolled in the Atlantic Canada/Toronto Study Club.

Cherri is a Cape Bretoner, a doting grandmother, and a lover of art, nature, photography and motorcycles.

Dental Technician | Full Time & Part Time Available

We are looking for a dental technician graduate, with a dental technology degree. An additional specialization or certification in CDT, RDT or an MDT degree is an asset. We are seeking a full time and a part time technician.

 The ideal Dental Technician must have the following skills sets:

  • A dental technology degree.

  • Interest and skill with removables and/or ceramics.

  • Good communication & leadership skills.

  • A customer-first mindset.

  • A willingness to learn on the job & study and earn CE with our educational partner, The Dawson Academy

  • A willingness to advance their dentistry skills.

  • Ability to understand & utilize digital technologies & adopt new innovations.

  • Ability to see/decipher detail, colour & contour for both chairside & digital chairside (with digital technologies).

  • Language skills is an asset: English, German &/or French.
